Dr. Teodora Nedialkova
I was born in 1981 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1998 I graduated from the Spanish Secondary School “Miguel de Cervantes” in Sofia.
Later in 2005 I graduated with Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Dental Medicine from the Medical University in Sofia.
From 2005 to 2011, I worked as a general dentist at “Nedialkov Dental Clinic” located at 105 Kniaz Dondukov Blvd.
In 2011, I opened my group practice at a new address – 90 Lyuben Karavelov St., 2nd floor, “Nedialkov Dental Clinic – Dr. Teodora Nedialkova.”
In 2016, I obtained a specialization in Periodontology at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University of Sofia.
I have since been attending professional educational courses, aiming to extend my dental qualifications in the areas of endodontics, aesthetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry and, in particular, my greatest passion – periodontics and oral surgery. Below is a list of the latest educational courses I have completed:
- 2009 – Education course with Isomed Italy, lead by Dr. Conte;
- 2010 – Periodontics course lead by the Israeli Prof. Goldstein;
- 2011 – Following a short sabbatical, I continued my professional development as a postgraduate student in the Faculty of Periodontics with the Medical University in Sofia;
- 2012 – I attended the EuroPerio 7 conference in Vienna, Austria;
- 2013 – I attended the International Osteology Symposium in Monaco;
- 2014 – I completed a course organised by the Greek Periodontics Society in Sofia;
- 2014 (April) – I completed a course organised by Neobiotech in Sofia, hosting guest lecturers Prof. Radela and Dr. Kent Huang from the USA;
- In October 2014, I visited Sallanches, France, home to the factory producing the implants I work with. There, I attended a specialized implantology course, which includes additional modules held annually in Bulgaria.
- 2015 – I completed several courses, split in different modules and organised for the first time in Bulgaria by Prof. Giovanni Zucchelli – one of the leading world class periodontists;
- In 2016, I attended a course by Prof. Nabih Nader from Lebanon on the topic of “Sinus Lifts.”
- In 2017, I attended training in Sallanches, France, on treating edentulous jaws using the All-on-4 and All-on-6 methods.
- Also in 2017, I visited one of the production centers of the Kulzer factories in Germany to learn the intricacies of using our filling materials in practice.
- In 2019, I attended a training session by Dr. Joseph Choukroun from France, who visited Bulgaria to conduct a course on working with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF). There is substantial evidence supporting the benefits of PRP and PRF in periodontal, implantological, and surgical procedures, as well as in aesthetics.
- In 2019, I delivered a lecture on the topic “Furcation Lesions and Their Treatments” at the prestigious European congress Sofia Dental Meeting, held annually in Sofia.
- In 2021, I attended a theoretical and practical course led by renowned periodontist Assoc. Prof. Kamen Kotsilkov, who was also my mentor during my Periodontology specialization in Sofia.
- In 2021 and 2022, I completed training levels for orthodontic misalignments with aligners – Yellow Line, which I have successfully implemented in my practice for adult patients.
In 2022, I attended the largest European Congress on Periodontology, held in Copenhagen, where leading experts in Periodontology from across Europe shared their experience. - In 2022, I also attended a theoretical and practical course by Istvan Urban in Hungary, a leading specialist in bone regenerative surgery.
- In 2022, I became a member of the Society of Gnathology and Occlusodentistry – Bulgaria.
- In 2023, I visited the production centers of the Hiossen-Osstem implant system in Seoul, South Korea, where we received high-level training, covering both theory and practical aspects.
- In 2024, I attended a theoretical and practical course in Rome, Italy, at the practice of Prof. Marco Tallarico. As a surgical instructor and President of the Research Center at Osstem-Hiossen Seoul, he presented us with a wealth of data that convinced us of the advantages of this implantology system.
In 2024, I was once again a lecturer at SDM in Sofia, where I presented a lecture to my colleagues on the topic “Connective Tissue Graft in My Practice,” which included many of my clinical cases. - In 2024, I attended the Digital Study Club, where lectures by colleagues were presented on the increasingly dynamic development of digitalization in dental medicine.
- Meanwhile, throughout the years, I have made sure not to miss the training sessions organized by the Bulgarian Dental Association (BDA), which take place several times a year.
