Application of growth factors - PRF-therapy
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) and L-PRF (Leukocyte-Platelet Rich Fibrin) are used to support healing processes in both soft and hard tissues. In dental medicine, PRF is utilized in periodontal surgery for graft stabilization, creation of sticky bone, bone and periodontal regeneration, alveolar preservation, and in implantology, particularly following tooth extractions.
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is obtained by drawing blood from the patient’s vein just before the surgical intervention, which is then centrifuged under specific conditions in a special centrifuge. This process concentrates growth factors, leukocytes, cytokines, platelets, and other components in the plasma solution. This method carries no risk of allergies or adverse reactions for the patient, as the growth factors are derived from their own blood.
The use of PRF products in dental, plastic, and periodontal surgery supports tissue healing and regeneration, reduces the risk of infections, and acts as a dressing for the treated area.
We work with NHIF, Fi-Health, Unica.
